Pravnik Magazine in International Bibliographic Databases

Pravnik magazine is regularly indexed in international bibliographical databases Internationale Bibliographie der Zeitschriftenliteratur (IBZ) and CSA Philosopher's Index. Pravnik can also be found in the list of the Slovenian magazines in international databases, that are relevant to the Slovenian Research Agency.

Slovenski pravnik (Slovenian Jurist) has been first published in 1862 (the publisher was dr. J. R. Razlag), while in the years 1870–1872 there were three volumes of the magazine Pravnik slovenski (Jurist Slovenian) issued (the publisher was dr. J. R. Razlag). In the year 1881 the magazine Slovenski pravnik was published as the first volume and then again in 1882 and 1883 (the publisher being dr. Alfons Mosche). In the year 1888 the fourth volume of the magazine was published by the association Pravnik (Jurist) and the magazine was then issued (with an exception in the years 1918 and 1919) until the year 1944. In the year 1946 (as volume 1) the magazine Ljudski pravnik (People's Jurist) began being regularly issued; in 1953 it had been renamed to Pravnik (Jurist); since the 1st of January 1965, after the merger with the magazine Javna uprava (Public Administration), Pravnik is being published as a magazine for legal theory and practice.
